I made a vector graphic in Corel which is royal blue. Exported it as an EPS File. RIP insists on printing it a very dark blue. Why is this? How do I fix it?

    Good Afternoon @bwdesigns

Could you specify the CMYK values for your Royal Blue colour?
Or please use dropbox to link to a before and after picture.

    Regards

    Hi.

I seem to have this problem my self. I can print from photoshop right to the oki printer and i get a royal blue but as soon as i open the photoshop file in the RIP i get a darker blue/purple as a preview and print. Other colours darken as well like green etc.

Is this a bug or the RIP just being daft and can’t get the right colour profile right? Its a few £££ to have some softwear that can’t print the right colours.

    Thanks
    Dave

    Dear Dave,

are you using the latest version of the profiles which you can download from this website?
If so, increase the white in step 4 to 250%.

    Hi
please can you advise if there was a solution to this as I am facing the same issue, the color on my illustration is not a true representation around step 3 or the rip process.

    Dear Bilal,

This is a very old thread, so most issues were probably handled by pm/dm or email.
Regading you issue, it’s important to know which printer you have and which software version as well as whether it’s only a single color that is not being displayed correctly or rather a deviation in most or all colors.
