I’m having trouble printing “even” pink color with my Pro8432WT printer. All setting are up-to-date (CM vers., checked color paper settings, white toner density). I tried printing PMS, CMYK and RGB with same result. Color is not even, there are lighter spots all over the picture. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1K7NostaCZFWooJIZxCJjkmt_JukLKoBO/view?usp=sharing
unfortunaltey this problem is coming from the printer. The CM update is making the problem less worse, but even with the update, some colors will be printed with these dots. You can try the follwoing. Change the media weight on the printer directly to medium and print with or without the RIP with the printer default setting. So, do not use User Type 1. In this case the dots will be less. This is the only thing you can try. We are still working on a solution.
Thank you for your answer, luckily I have Roland printer also and was able to do the job with that one. Hope you’ll find a solution, would’ve been easier with OKI 🙂
