The problem seems to be that you are using the wrong products/transfer system.
You write:
“I am using an Oki c831-ts. CMYK. I am using CenDale brand DTF premium transfer film with Forever Dark B paper.”
Our complementary 2-paper systems only work in conjunction with their A OR B counterpart.
Only when using both products with a toner-based CMYK laser printer OR a laser printer with WHITE toner (CMY(W) / CMYK+W).
The required product pairings are as follows:
“FOREVER Laser-Dark (No-Cut) A-Foil Finishing” + “FOREVER Laser-Dark (No-Cut) B-Paper LowTemp”
OR
“FOREVER Laser-Dark (No-Cut) A-Foil Finishing” + “FOREVER Laser-Dark (No-Cut) B-Paper PRO”
Note that when using a CMYK laser toner without an additional white layer, you can only use solid colors in your designs/transfers – that is, EVERY color of the image/transfer should have a cumulative color value (CMYK value) of at least 100% (e.g.: 50% magenta + 50% yellow gives a 100% colored red, while 20% cyan and 30% yellow only gives 50% light green and is therefore too low)
This means that photos, gradients, bright colors and pastel colors are not transferable and therefore should not be included in your design.
