Preserve Partial Transparency

I see this on the control spot color screen, but there is no mention of what this feature does in the manual, or how to use it.

Dear Users,

if you create a design with faded edges or areas, the OKI White Toner Printer will fill-up these areas with white the more they are going to transparency. That means that the edges will become solid white. To prevent this you can click on this option.
The preview works fine in this case and you will be able to see the difference by clicking on the check box.
