For those, who for some or other reason do not use TransferRIP it would be helpful, if Forever give general recommendations for rasterizing images in Photoshop,

    In particular
    1) What image resolution in dpi is recommended for A4 and A3 size images?
    2) For recommended image resolution what halftone screen frequency in lpi to use for rasterizing?

Thank you for your feedback. User feedback and questions are always welcome here.

Rasterizing images has been made easy with the TransferRIP software – which is now just 1-Click away. But, if you or other poeple out there, are unsure how to optimize images for Heat Transfer printing – then let us help by explaining how to Rasterize and optimise images.

In the meantime, please check out our Photoshop Rasterization Step Process pdf.

    Stay tuned for more updates.

Here are the answers to your questions:

    1. The recommended image resolution for both A4 and A3 sized artwork should be 300 dpi. This ensures the best possible reproduction of the transfer image from Screen to Print.
    2. For Transfers which are applied to T-Shirts, a value of between 25-30 with a maximum of 35 Pixels is recommended.
